Blackfire is referenced once in the Justice League vs. Teen Titans. When Starfire is complaining to Nightwing about Damian Wayne's negative behavior, she said that he reminds her of her sister. In Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, Blackfire is again mentioned/referenced when Starfire was rescued from the Gordians by Robin, Kid Flash, Arsenal, Beast Boy, and Bumblebee (in a flashback, which took place five years ago). She revealed that Blackfire had staged a coup and seized the throne, forcing Starfire to flee Tamaran. In the present timeline, Beast Boy later told Terra that Starfire was "a refugee being stalked by her homicidal sister."
