News and Announcements
Hey all! Following the release of the DCAMU's final film, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, DC have announced that later today they'll be hosting a watch party at 1pm Pacific Time/4pm Eastern Time (click here for your local equivalent) for fans, featuring a number of key people, who'll be live Tweeting the whole time:
- Voice actor Jason O'Mara, who voices Batman — @jason_omara
- Voice actor Christopher Gorham, who voices the Flash — @ChrisGorham
- Screenwriter Ernie Altbacker — @ejaltbacker
- Executive producer James Tucker — @JTuckerAnimator
Following this watch through, at 3pm Pacific Time, a pre-taped panel discussion will be available on the DC YouTube page! The aforementioned men will also be joined by voice actor Jerry O'Connell (Superman), voice actor Matt Ryan (John Constantine), and co-directors Matt Peters and Christina Sotta — super exciting stuff!
Be sure to jump on this opportunity, as I'm sure the cast and crew will have some terrific insight into the last film in this epic saga!
Just Updated
Well so far it looks like we'll only be getting one film this year but I'll keep listening out for any other news.
Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay (download from March 27th 2018)Warner Home Video is releasing this year a DC Universe Original Animated Movies box set on Blu-Ray to celebrate 10 years.
At this year's San Diego Comic-con, it was revealed that these are the two movies that we'll be getting for 2017:
Justice League Dark—an adaptation of the popular comic book series that will bring John Constantine to the world of animation for the first time in a supernatural story that promises plenty of mystery and thrills, along with an amazing voice cast. While Constantine’s world of demons and magic are an important part of the DC Universe, it’s been largely unexplored in DC’s connected universe of animated movies until now.
Teen Titans: Judas Contract—It will serve as something of a follow-up to last year’s Justice League vs. Teen Titans.
